SAFETY IS OUR TOP PRIORITY

It is important for our firefighters and EMS personnel - and our community - to always remember that emergency response can be dangerous and that safety must be our top priority.  One of the most dangerous parts of any emergency call is responding to the scene.  Cumberland Fire & EMS aims to reduce this risk through training and accountability programs for our personnel.

Community members can also reduce the risk of additional accidents during an emergency response.  When you see an emergency vehicle, slow down, pull over when it is safe and appropriate to do so, and avoid emergency scenes whenever possible.
